I am back and alive! It has been a grueling seven months at sea. We had hit ports in Norway, all of the Baltic states, France, Sweden, and Finland. It was an adventure I never thought to take in my service. It feels surreal that I am also detached from the command with transferring onward to Japan. Woo! For last month I have been spending time with my husband – zipping and going on a cruise for the first time. Getting out of the mindset of hustle and bustle was tough. Being a schedule 24/7 is something different from working a regular job.
